Job summary

Metaphore Biotechnologies, Inc. is seeking a co-op for its Computation Biology and AI/ML groups. The intern will analyze and benchmark NGS assays, evaluate AI/ML tools, and contribute to drug discovery questions across the platform.

Ideal candidates will have experience in data analysis with Python or R, familiarity with big data, and strong communication skills. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week role in the office for January–June 2027, open exclusively to Northeastern University Co-Op

About the Role

MetaphoreBiotechnologies is seeking an enthusiastic co-op to join ourComp Bio and AI/MLgroups. In this role, you will address key questions for our platform, including both drug discovery and technology development efforts, by analyzing, benchmarking, and interpreting the results of next-generation sequencing (NGS)drug discoveryassaysandevaluating AI/ML tools torespond to drug discovery questions. The ideal candidate will have prior experience indataanalysis andsome knowledgeof either thePython or R programming languagesand AI/ML tools. In this position, they will have the opportunity to work acrossMetaphore'scomputational platform and learn and contribute to multiple bioinformatic analysis approaches.

The pay range for this role is $25 - $35 per hour. This role is a short-term engagement that is not eligible for health and welfare benefits.
