Job summary

Understanding Recruitment is recruiting a Technology Programme Manager to lead a team delivering a portfolio of technology, ERP and business change initiatives in Birmingham with a hybrid on-site pattern. You will develop the team and drive governance, planning and budgeting across multiple projects.

The role requires ERP transformation experience, strong vendor management and the ability to challenge stakeholders while maintaining momentum in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering technology, ERP and business change initiatives at portfolio level.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop Project Managers.
• Experience implementing or improving project delivery methodologies and governance.
• ERP transformation experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud and/or Oracle R12.
• Experience managing third-party vendors and complex stakeholder relationships.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills to manage conflicting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of six Project Managers delivering a varied portfolio of technology, ERP and business change initiatives.
• Improve project management capability, embed best practice and new delivery models, and strengthen governance, planning and budgeting across the team.
• Oversee fast-moving projects and step into delivery when needed to resolve issues and maintain momentum.
