Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Technology Team Leader who reports to the Technology Operations Manager and works a 24 x 7 shift pattern within a team of Operators across multiple platforms. The role collaborates with Helpdesk Services and Major Incident Management, ensuring monitoring, incident handling and high service standards. Nationwide supports hybrid working and a Glasgow-based office presence.

The successful candidate will report directly to their Technology Operations Manager. This person will work a shift pattern (24 x 7) working within a team of Operators across multiple platforms. The candidate will work closely with a number of Operations teams including, Helpdesk Services and Major Incident Management

The Technology Team Leader will have to ensure that, their roles & responsibilities are completed with accuracy and to a high standard, services are monitored effectively, and any problems are handled efficiently and in line with processes and procedures.

For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at our Glasgow office. If you're based at our Glasgow office, this will apply from 1 April 2027 and ahead of that there will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events.
