Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a Stock & Asset Management Officer to support LHIS asset workflow. You will manage receipt, storage, stock control and distribution of ICT equipment, including mobile devices, PCs and printers, and install software on PCs as required.
You will track assets from receipt to deployment and disposal, support hardware recycling, log returns and ensure disposal follows the agreed procedures.
This will include monitoring routine systems outside of the Project and Stores team, for example Server backup failures systems, Antivirus systems, Encryptions systems and to take necessary action.
This post will also be responsible for administering, organising and planning the receipt, storage, stock control and distribution service for all ordered LHIS stock, including orders on behalf of clients.
These deliveries may include mobile telephones, computers, printers, network equipment etc.
This post also includes installing software as required on PCs/Laptops, to ensure that physical assets are maintained to an appropriate standard.
This role is key for ensuring that assets are available for deployment to technicians and that assets are also accurately tracked from receipt to disposal and is to support the recycling of hardware recovered from customers to ensure that this process is monitored, equipment returns are logged and disposal is in accordance with agreed procedure.
