Job summary

Mondelēz International is recruiting a Technician for the Bournville Pilot Plant in the UK. You will support trial activities, operate equipment, and perform hand moulding tasks in a busy pilot plant environment.

The role emphasizes GMP, Food Safety, and continuous improvement, with a hybrid work pattern and opportunities to contribute to process development across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in process development ideally in an FMCG environment.
• Able to work with teams and independently under guidance.
• Proactively identifying problems and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support trial activities (weighing, material additions, manual tasks).
• Operate low complexity equipment and perform hand moulding activities.
• Support Food Safety & Quality and ensure GMP adherence.
• Dispose of non-conforming materials and ensure accurate labelling.
• Support environmental monitoring and health & safety programs.
• Complete actions in improvement programs and 5S initiatives.

You lead in the execution of experiments and trials that are required to complete process design and process deployment for innovation/growth projects and productivity projects across multiple geographies.How you will contributeYou will be responsible for the seamless implementation of process trials in pilot plant, factories and with suppliers, offering your operational expertise in specific process unit operations for the total category. In addition, you will help plan for the effective use of resources, including the use of external agencies. Good analytical and writing skills are important in this role because you will create technical reports that require the analysis and interpretation of results leading to conclusions and recommendations.
