Mondelēz International in the UK is seeking a Product Developer to support RDQ activities for new product development and portfolio improvements across Kitchen and Aurora programs. You will coordinate pilot plant trials, work with cross-functional teams, and help ensure consumer-focused specifications and quality standards.

The role blends hands-on scientific execution with cross-functional alignment, requiring strong technical writing, data interpretation, and stakeholder influence.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Food Science, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • 3–5 years of product development experience in the food industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead RDQ activities for new product development and portfolio improvements.
  • Plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials per GMP/HACCP.
  • Write technical reports with analyses, conclusions and recommendations.
  • Create and maintain consumer-led specifications and coordinate stakeholder input.

Working as part of a cross-functional team you lead the RDQ activities required to complete new product development and maintain portfolios and/or productivity projects keeping in mind the goal to deliver the desired consumer experience. How you will contribute With the support and guidance of a manager, you will organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements and development activities (e.g. product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation etc.). You will also write technical reports that will require the analysis and interpretation of results and that lead to conclusions and recommendations and create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications. To provide direction for product development, you will use digital simulation models to obtain, understand and interpret consumer insights and commercial information. In this role, you will create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications and be responsible for stakeholder management and influencing decisions based on conclusions made from analysis and interpretation of results.

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Product Developer to support key initiatives within our Kitchen and Aurora programs. This temporary position blends hands-on scientific execution with cross-functional alignment, focusing heavily on executing specification harmonization projects across a diverse set of ingredients., Education : Bachelor'sdegree in FoodScience, Chemistry, ChemicalEngineering, or a relatedscientificdiscipline.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience, ideallyviauniversitylab work, internships, orpriortechnicalplacements. Product Development experience withinFoodIndustry is a plus.
  • Technical Skills : Basic familiaritywith Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, datamanagement, orspecificationdatabases is a plus.
