Job summary

Mondelez International is seeking a Junior Packaging Development professional to lead packaging design and deployment activities for innovation and productivity projects. You will work within a cross-functional team to deliver consumer-focused packaging solutions across multiple geographies.

You will plan and conduct packaging development activities, coordinate tests in laboratories and on production lines, and generate technical reports to support decisions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Packaging, Food Science, or related field.
• Min. 2–3 years' experience ideally within fast moving consumer goods or consumer packaging environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – CAD software.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills to clearly present packaging data and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute RDQ activities to complete packaging design and packaging deployment for Innovation/Growth projects.
• Coordinate experiments, pilot plant trials, and supplier engagements to generate packaging information.
• Analyze packaging performance in terms of quality, cost, and environmental impact; maintain accurate packaging specifications.

You will plan and conduct activities to generate appropriate packaging information, using sampling and supplier management, and pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements. In this role, you will plan and conduct process development activities (e.g. packaging design and specifications, packaging scale up, commissioning etc.) and help with planning and the effective use of resources, including the use of external agencies.
