Job summary

Marshall Nissan Grantham is offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled Service Technician to join our high-performing aftersales team. We provide state-of-the-art facilities, manufacturer training, and strong career progression within the Marshall network.

You will service and maintain vehicles, perform diagnostics, warranty and repair work, and participate in eVHC checks. We offer a competitive basic salary with OTE, excellent benefits, and ongoing accreditation training.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent) required.
• Experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic with exposure to warranty and servicing work preferred.
• Strong teamwork, safety and quality standards.
• MOT Licence is a plus; full training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• Handle a variety of maintenance tasks from oil changes to cambelt changes with digital write-ups and job cards.
• Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.

In this role:

• You’ll carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• You’ll handle a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks, from oil changes to cambelt changes, supported by digital write-ups and job card completion.
• You’ll conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.

We're looking for:

• Someone with a recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Someone with previous experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to both warranty and servicing work.
• Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
• Someone with a MOT Licence is a plus - full training can be provided if not yet qualified.
• Most importantly, someone eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training.
