Summary We are looking to appoint a hard-working, conscientious and reliable person to provide technical and curriculum support within our Design & Technology department. This is a varied practical role supporting the preparation, organisation and safe delivery of Design & Technology lessons.The successful candidate will need to be flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work across the different areas of the Design & Technology curriculum. We recognise that applicants may have strengths or experience in specific areas and do not expect candidates to already have specialist knowledge of every aspect of Design & Technology. Training and support will be provided by members of the team where required.

Please note that in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2026, an online search will be carried out as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro -rata basis.

Essential Experience
  • The ability to demonstrate the competence to carryout the role.
  • We are particularly interested in appointing someone who is organised, practical and able to work effectively as part of a team, supporting staff and pupils and helping to maintain safe, well-prepared and effective practical learning environments.
Desirable Experience
  • Possession of, or the ability to demonstrate the capability to gain, relevantqualifications, licences or equivalent where applicable.
