Teaching Personnel is seeking a Teacher of Design & Technology to join a welcoming Blackburn, Lancashire secondary school on a full-time basis from November 2026 to July 2027. You will teach D&T across KS3 and KS4, including Food Technology, plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess progress, and contribute to department and school life. Applicants must hold QTS or an equivalent qualification, with D&T teaching experience; MPS/UPS dependent on experience.

• Has experience teaching Design & Technology within a secondary school setting.
• Confident delivering Food Technology lessons.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Design & Technology to join a welcoming and successful secondary school in Blackburn, Lancashire on a full-time basis from November 2026 until July 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons within Design & Technology and Food Technology. The successful candidate will be committed to raising achievement, promoting creativity, and fostering a positive learning environment where all students can thrive.

The Role

• Teach Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4.

The Ideal Candidate
