Overview

Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic – Northampton. Salary: £32,000 basic salary depending on experience | OTE £38,000. Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm | 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am – 12:30pm. Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic, you\'ll be responsible for servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs while ensuring every vehicle is completed to the highest manufacturer standards.

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work efficiently
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults across a range of vehicles
• Completing repairs and maintenance to manufacturer standards
• Carrying out vehicle health checks and identifying additional work where required
• Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and safety standards
• Accurately completing workshop documentation and job cards
• Working closely with the wider workshop team to deliver excellent customer service

Your Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• At least 3 years\' experience within the automotive industry
• Strong servicing, maintenance and diagnostic skills
• MOT Licence advantageous but not essential
• Your own tools and toolbox
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence
• A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship
