Job summary

Auto Skills UK in Grantham is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic to join a busy, well-established dealership. The role offers a base salary of £42,000 with OTE £48,000+ and a Monday–Friday schedule with some Saturdays.

You will service, maintain and repair customer vehicles to high standards. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and 3+ years' experience are expected, along with your own tools and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Strong servicing, maintenance and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Own tools and toolbox; Full UK Manual Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
• Completing repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
• Carrying out vehicle health checks and reporting findings.
• Accurately completing workshop documentation and job cards.
• Working collaboratively with the workshop team to maintain productivity and customer satisfaction.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm | 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am - 12:30pm

The Role
