Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Technical Trainer / Professional Services Consultant for its Security Products division. The role involves delivering technical training and professional services across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, with regular travel across the UK and Ireland and occasional travel to AMEA/APAC regions.

You will work with customers, partners, and internal teams to support deployments, upgrades, migrations, and optimisation projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the electronic security industry.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise security solutions (access control, video management).
• Hands-on experience with Johnson Controls security products (CCURE 9000, CEM Systems, or AD solutions).
• Experience delivering technical training or presenting complex technical information to customers.
• Professional Services experience (installation, commissioning, upgrades, migrations, or system optimisation).

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led and virtual technical training courses to customers, partners, and colleagues.
• Develop and maintain training materials, practical labs, and supporting documentation.
• Provide professional services including commissioning, system upgrades, migrations, and troubleshooting.
• Support customers through complex deployments and technical escalations.
• Deliver knowledge transfer sessions and best-practice guidance.
• Work with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Technical Support teams.
• Promote adoption and optimisation of Johnson Controls security solutions.

What You Will Do

Join Johnson Controls as a Technical Trainer / Professional Services Consultant within our Security Products business. In this customer-facing role, you will deliver technical training, professional services, and specialist support for enterprise security solutions across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will work closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to support system deployments, upgrades, migrations, and optimisation projects while helping users maximise the value of our technologies. This role requires regular travel across the UK and Ireland and occasional travel to other regions including AMEA and APAC.

How You Will Do It

What We Are Looking For

• Required Proven experience within the electronic security industry


• Strong knowledge of enterprise security solutions, including access control and video management systems


• Hands-on experience with Johnson Controls security products, including CCURE 9000, CEM Systems and/or American Dynamics solutions


• Experience delivering technical training or presenting complex technical information to customers


• Professional Services experience, including installation, commissioning, upgrades, migrations, or system optimisation


• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills


• Excellent English communication skills


• Ability and willingness to travel extensively across the UK, Ireland, EMEA, and internationally when required


• Beneficial Experience supporting multinational enterprise customers


• Knowledge of competitor enterprise security platforms


• Additional European language skills


• Relevant security industry, IT networking, or security systems certifications
