Job summary

Laboris Solutions are working with a specialist roofing, cladding, rainscreen and fire remediation contractor. We're looking for a Technical Surveyor to join their Technical team, taking projects from the first site visit through to materials delivery.

You will survey roofs and building envelopes on new-build, refurbishment and re-roofing projects, convert surveys into technical designs for metal roofing and cladding, and coordinate with architects and contractors on drawings and approvals.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in surveying, technical or design roles in metal roofing, cladding or building envelope sectors.
• Experience carrying out measured surveys and coordinating construction drawings.
• Working knowledge of metal roofing systems.

What you'll do

• Produce materials schedules, get supplier quotes and place orders
• Support site teams during installation and attend key stages on site

What we're looking for

• 3–5 years' experience in a surveying, technical or design role in metal roofing, cladding, flat roofing or the wider building envelope sector
• Experience carrying out measured surveys and coordinating construction drawings
• Working knowledge of metal roofing systems (profiled sheeting, standing seam, composite panels)
• Comfortable working at height, and confident in ExcelFull UK driving licence, as you'll travel to sites across the UK
• Detail-focused, organised, and a clear communicator

Nice to have

• HND or degree in a construction-related subject
• AutoCAD experience
• PASMA or IPAF certificate
• Knowledge of Building Regulations Parts L and B

Permanent, full-time. Office and site-based, with regular UK travel.
