Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist who is an expert in financial technology and will ensure our merchants with exceptional and timely technical support.

Your regular working hours will be 10:30–19:00. During the first few months, while you're onboarding and going through training, you'll work 9:00–17:30 to help you settle in and get all the support you need.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide technical support to Paynt merchants and partners via tickets, emails and phone.
  • Implement medium to high complexity solutions related to e-commerce platforms, transactions, plugins and integrations according to agreed SLA and standards.
  • Manage technical onboarding of new merchants for the company.
  • Maintain communication with third-party vendors.
  • Responsible for maintaining up-to-date documentation for applications, and system configurations, providing detailed insights for troubleshooting and future reference.
  • Follow established escalation procedures and escalate complex issues to higher-level support or IT teams while ensuring clear and concise information.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, account management and compliance, to address customer needs and concerns.
  • Identify and assess growing customers’ needs, collect, and act on feedback.
  • Participating in system and other related training, sharing knowledge.
  • Participation in various team projects.

What You Bring

  • Strong understanding of merchant acquiring, e-commerce, processors, and gateways.
  • Familiarity with a range of payment methods, including credit cards, digital wallets, and other emerging payment technologies.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience working as Technical Support Specialist (or similar), preferred experience within the FinTech industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English required; additional fluency in other languages is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with support tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of API tools such as Postman and SoapUI is desirable.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong time management with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate and resolve issues independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
