Job summary

Comxps Ltd in Hackney, London, is recruiting for a building maintenance role for a government client. The position requires extensive knowledge of construction details, safety compliance, and experience with residents and leaseholders.

Candidates should have a building-related qualification (HND/HNC) or be qualified by experience, and BPSS clearance. You will liaise with tenants, manage consultations, and work evenings with flexible attendance.

Qualifications

• Have a building related qualification (to HND / HNC) or be ‘qualified by experience’ in a similar role.
• Have extensive technical knowledge, experience and understanding of construction details and defects pathology in all types of domestic dwellings, including high-rise developments.
• A sound understanding of Health and Safety legislation and regulation including CDM 2015.
• A knowledge of Disrepair / EPA and/or Party Wall legislation /Section 20 consultation would be beneficial in this role.
• Relevant experience of working in a building maintenance role.
• Experience of liaising with residents and leaseholders.

ESSENTIAL
