Job summary

First Military Recruitment is seeking a Technical Support Engineer in Wickham. The role focuses on delivering clear technical support from the office, logging requests, and leading training sessions to help customers understand products.

Full funding for external certifications and thorough internal training are provided to develop product knowledge. The position emphasizes hands-on testing, strong communication, and collaborative work with sales and technical teams.

Qualifications

Proven IT, electronic, electrical or technical support background with strong computer literacy and hardware/software understanding.
Ability to present to groups, run online meetings and host instructional videos.
Willingness to learn new hardware, software and systems quickly.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to write guides clearly.

Responsibilities

Deliver technical and system support via phone, email and ticket systems from the office location.
Log, manage and prioritise customer requests through CRM/ticketing platforms.
Lead classroom and virtual product training sessions.
Create support collateral such as FAQs, datasheets, user manuals and video tutorials.
Evaluate potential new products/systems and provide feedback to commercial teams.
Assist Sales with technical system calculations and pre-sales guidance.
