Job summary

Gill Cooke Personnel Ltd T/A The Recruitment Group is seeking a technically minded Technical Support Engineer in Witney to join the team. You will prepare quotations, advise on product specifications and provide technical support to internal teams and customers.

You will liaise with Engineering, Sales and other departments, supporting projects while maintaining margins and ensuring enquiries are handled efficiently. A keen problem-solver with customer focus will succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience with hydraulic products including accumulators, filtration, coolers, valves and manifolds.
• Office-based and customer service experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient IT skills with Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.

Essential Requirements

• ? HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.

• ? Knowledge of technical data and quality standards.
• ? Strong hydraulic knowledge and technical aptitude.
