Job summary

Six Ventures Ltd in Cambridgeshire is seeking a Senior Hydraulics Engineer to lead the design and development of hydraulic systems from concept to manufacture. You will read and create schematics, perform calculations, support installation and testing, and collaborate with production, supply chain and the Head of Engineering to deliver reliable, standards-compliant solutions.

The role requires a degree in engineering or equivalent hydraulics experience, strong problem-solving and communication

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified engineer or equivalent experience within hydraulics, fluid power or a related discipline.
• Proven experience designing and supporting hydraulic systems.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic components, circuits and fluid power principles.
• Ability to read and create hydraulic schematics and technical documentation.
• Experience using CAD and engineering software.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Senior Hydraulics Engineer

The Opportunity

We're recruiting for an experienced Senior Hydraulics Engineer to join a growing engineering team in Cambridgeshire.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hydraulic systems specialist to play a key role in the design, development and support of innovative hydraulic solutions from concept through to manufacture, testing and installation. Working closely with the Head of Engineering, you'll have the chance to influence product development, solve complex technical challenges and contribute to the delivery of high-quality engineering projects.
