Role: Technical Supervisor

The Technical Supervisor (TS) is responsible for the technical delivery across a defined cluster of BT sites, ensuring compliance and safety. The TS provides guidance on mechanical and electrical systems, responds to operational incidents, and supports the Area Operations Manager (AOM) and Contract Support in delivering FM services. Collaboration with the BU Technical Services Manager (TSM) is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Promote safety in all activities, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  2. Manage and supervise FM colleagues, including absence management and performance reviews.
  3. Coordinate with TSMs and SMEs for standards and process alignment.
  4. Lead maintenance and operational tasks, including fault investigations and repairs.
  5. Oversee subcontractors and ensure quality standards are met.
  6. Manage asset data, warranties, and defects, especially during project handovers.
  7. Support budget development and monitor financial compliance.
  8. Ensure documentation and audit requirements are met.
  9. Coordinate small projects and manage inventory and procurement activities.
  10. Prepare reports, KPIs, and manage escalation of issues.
  11. Contribute to emergency planning and risk assessments.
Person Specification:
  • Expertise in multiple disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, or public health, with relevant qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong safety awareness and risk management skills.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize effectively.
  • Innovative mindset with a drive for excellence.
  • Proficiency in reporting tools like Microsoft Office, Tableau, PowerBI.
  • Good commercial awareness and financial skills.
