Our love of exploration and technical expertise help us to provide our clients with invaluable insights. We source and make sense of the most relevant Geo-data for their needs, so they can design, build and operate their assets more safely, sustainably and efficiently. We value individuals who can take the initiative but also work well within a team.
About Us
We’ve launched our innovative Uncrewed Service Vessel (USV) department that leverages cutting-edge technology to minimize our carbon footprint and promote sustainability. Our USV team operates primarily from our new Remote Operations Centre in Aberdeen, supporting a variety of exciting projects.
The Role
We are seeking skilled ROV Supervisors to oversee asset integrity projects in our Remote Operations Centre and pilot our electric Remotely Operated Vehicles (eROVs) installed on USVs across Europe and Africa. This role is based at our Remote Operations Centre in Aberdeen.
As an ROV Supervisor, you will understand the project scope and contractual implications to ensure effective mission planning within the operating room. Your responsibilities include providing clear communication, supervision, and direction to your team. You will support, train, and mentor ROV Pilots, and deliver effective safety management and communications through toolbox talks and shift handovers.
What a Remote and Uncrewed Career Offers
This role offers a unique opportunity to cross-train and expand your expertise with the latest technology. You will engage in diverse and groundbreaking projects, be at the forefront of the industry’s transition to remote and autonomous technology, and access extensive career and training opportunities both nationally and globally. You will enjoy a stable onshore working environment while being part of this exciting transition.
Additionally, you'll benefit from guaranteed earnings for 180 days each year. If you reside near Aberdeen, you'll have the added perk of returning to the comfort of your own bed every night after work.
Who We’re Looking For
We seek individuals with previous experience as an ROV Supervisor and experience in inspection-class ROV operations. Candidates should have nationally recognized technical or trade qualifications in electrical, electronics, computing, or mechanics, and the flexibility to work shift patterns up to 4 weeks in length.
We value diverse perspectives and are actively seeking candidates from various backgrounds. We are particularly interested in individuals who can bring new perspectives and contribute to our culture of inclusivity.

Fugro fosters a positive work environment and offers projects that challenge and satisfy the most curious minds. We provide ample opportunities for personal and professional growth, encouraging you to bring your energy, enthusiasm, and innovative ideas. Join us to be part of a diverse, driven team leading in Geo-data specialization.
