Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking an Area Sales Manager to own and develop a UK territory, focusing on technical equipment, consumables and service solutions. This consultative, solution-led role targets aerospace, automotive, materials manufacturing, universities and research environments.

You’ll manage an established customer base with opportunities for growth, while working with internal service and technical teams to ensure an excellent customer experience and long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in technical B2B sales and consultative, solution-led selling.
• Experience growing and managing existing accounts with long-term relationships.
• Full UK driving licence and passport; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow sales across your allocated territory.
• Develop existing customer relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Conduct regular customer visits, meetings, demonstrations and events.
• Sell equipment, consumables and service through a consultative, value-based approach.
• Understand customer processes and recommend the right technical solution.
• Provide advice and application support around metallographic analysis and testing.
• Deliver basic product training and demonstrations on-site.
• Manage quotations, negotiations and commercial terms.
• Monitor market trends, competitors and customer requirements.
• Work closely with internal service and technical teams to ensure an excellent customer experience.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM activity.
• Represent the business at exhibitions, seminars and customer events when required.
