Job summary

BMW Group in Farnborough is offering a placement in Technical Services and Warranty for 2027. You will work in the Technical Campaigns team, supporting Aftersales and Retailer networks, with exposure to multiple departments and data tools.

The role develops your analytic, creative, and strategic thinking while you contribute to campaigns, reports, and tooling. Applicants must be returning to studies for at least 6 months and have right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a bachelor's degree and on track to achieve at least a 2:2.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Passion for the automotive industry and understanding of working in a premium brand environment.
• Excellent organisation / management and budget planning skills, with outstanding attention to detail.
• The ability to think creatively, analytically, and strategically.

Responsibilities

• Analyse outstanding recall customer data to locate vehicles with incorrect registered keeper details and monitor completion rates of technical actions.
• Assist with customer mailing templates and generate batches of letters for recalls and technical actions; administer XCC system and compile reports.
• Develop and support a recall VIN lookup tool; compile monthly recall and campaign completion rate reports.
• Publish bulletins to Retailer HUB and liaise with Retailers to improve recall completion rates.
• Communicate with Parts, Customer Services, Aftersales regional teams and support Technical Campaigns and Special Processes.
• Monitor quality issues and trends; organise regional/team meetings and communicate minutes.
• Develop and implement AI-based solutions to support existing systems, improving efficiency and reporting.
