Job summary

Computacenter Hatfield is seeking a Technical Services Supervisor to lead a busy technical operation, ensuring customer commitments and SLAs are met. You will coordinate engineers, monitor workloads, and act as a key escalation point, while remaining hands-on with configuration, deployment and testing tasks as needed.

The role emphasizes leadership, process adherence, quality, and collaboration across internal stakeholders, with a permanent, on-site schedule in Hatfield.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced technical services, deployment, logistics or operational environments.
• Previous supervisory, team leadership or people management experience.
• Strong organisational, planning and workload management skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience working within SLA-driven environments.
• Hands-on experience with configuration, deployment or related technical activities.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support Engineers and team members within the Technical Services operation.
• Manage workload, resource allocation and workflow to meet customer commitments and SLA targets.
• Monitor operational performance, escalate risks and resolve issues to minimise service impact.
• Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and communicate across the business.
• Contribute to hands-on configuration, deployment, testing and troubleshooting activities.
• Ensure policies, procedures and audit requirements are followed.
