Job summary

Informed Recruitment Limited is seeking a Technical Services Officer to support a social housing-focused consultancy. The role involves helping with procurement, asset management, and development activities across technical services and specifications in a hybrid setup with regular Birmingham office presence.

You will review technical specifications, benchmark pricing, and tender submissions, while ensuring compliance with CDM and health & safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience within Social Housing or consultancy serving the sector.
• Experience across asset management, technical services & specifications, property management, decent homes or remediation.
• Project coordination/management and technical specification development.
• Understanding of CDM and Health & Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support review of technical specifications to meet operational needs.
• Research to develop technical specs; maintain core specification docs.
• Engage stakeholders; evaluate tender submissions and cost estimates.
• Quality check framework submissions and proposals; maintain benchmark pricing.
• Keep up to date with sector developments and legislative changes.
