Job summary

ISS Facility Services UK is recruiting a Technical Services Manager for the M&E and Fabric maintenance function at the R&D Campus site in Weybridge/Addlestone. The role oversees 24/7 shift engineering teams, a PPM regime, and reactive repairs on a multi-building site including offices, farms and labs.

You will report to the Senior Technical Manager and coordinate with other Technical Managers on site.

Qualifications

• Engineering leadership experience
• Strong technical background in M&E and fabric maintenance
• Ability to pass a Government security check

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering shift teams and contractors to deliver PPMs and reactive works to SLA/KPI.
• Provide technical reports and asset evaluations for customer sites.
• Review performance and maintain quality standards across the site.
• Support daily customer update meetings and CAFM documentation uploads.
• Maintain risk registers and support wider risk management.
• Take corrective action to resolve issues and ensure compliance with Owner's operation rules.
• Assign tasks and ensure PMs and WOs are completed monthly.
• Maintain up-to-date O&M documents and SOPs/MOPs/EOPS for site operations

Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to recruit a Technical Services Manager to lead the M&E + Fabric maintenance function delivered against the end client's key R&D Campus site in Weybridge/Addlestone.

The client are a major Government organisation dedicated to Agriculture and Scientific R&D for purposes of public health.

The site is a multi acre, multi building development, including offices, farms, labs and more spread across leafy Surrey countryside.

Here, as the Technical Manager you will oversee engineering delivered by Shift Engineering teams who operate on a 24/7 basis, working to a PPM regime and providing reactive repairs.

Working alongside other Technical Managers, and being responsible for your portion of the site you will report into the Senior Technical Manager.

This is a fantastic role for an established Facilities Technical Leader, joining a world class site, working for a leading FM provider on a key account.

Actions will include:

• Manage the technical shift team and contractors to ensure all PPM’s and reactive works are completed in line with SLA’s and KPI’s
• Provide technical reports and evaluation of assets and systems on the customers sites
• Review and evaluate performance and ensure quality standards are being met
• Support daily update meetings with customer
• Support the Asset Manager by ensure the team provide the correct documentation and uploads to the CAFM system
• Maintain a risk register for areas of responsibilities and support the wider risk management and mitigation
• Take corrective action to resolve problems
• Understand the Owner’s building operations rules for the building(s) under care and as provided by the Account Director
• Make Task assignments as needed for Work Tickets and Preventative Maintenance Work Orders for the O&M Team
• Ensure staff complete PM’s and work orders as scheduled each month
• Ensure the Operations & Maintenance Documents (Documents Library) of Drawings, O&M manuals, Site Operators Manual, etc. are up to date and neatly stored and easily and readily retrievable
• Review, edit and maintain SOPS/MOPS/EOPS as appropriate for site operations
