Job summary

4K Consulting Ltd. is seeking a Technical Services Consultant to join our team, delivering technical and design support across the company portfolio.

You will work with internal and external customers to provide expert guidance, develop specifications, and prepare quotes. The role involves using AutoCAD for drawings, producing specifications in Word, and ensuring compliance with building, construction, and health & safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of the building/construction sector.
• Strong communication with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to provide technical advice over phone and email.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and design support for the products across the portfolio.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers.
• Advise on technical issues via phone and email.
• Create and interpret technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare specifications using Word.
• Produce quotes for projects.
• Ensure compliance with building/construction/H&S regulations.

The role

• Working within a team of 5 consultants providing technical and design support for all the products across the companies portfolio
• Working closely with both internal and external customers
• Providing technical advice both over the phone and via e-mail
• Using AutoCAD to produce and interpret technical drawings
• Using Word to put together specifications
• Producing quotes
• Working to various building/ construction/ H&S regulations

What you need

• Experience and knowledge of the construction industry
• Knowledge of the Building Safety Act
• Ideally experience of retrofit projects
• Ideally experience of thermal calculations
• Ideally experience of AutoCAD
