Job summary

Profiles Personnel is looking for a Sales Administrator to join an established manufacturing business in an office-based role. You will support new and existing business by interpreting technical requirements, analysing costs and delivering tailored quotations.

A proactive, detail-oriented approach and strong Excel/SAP skills are essential for success. The role offers a salary around £27K–£28K depending on experience and is based on-site with free parking.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (highly advantageous).
• Strong numerical skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills.
• A proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle essential - free on-site parking.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing technical drawings and specifications to assess manufacturing requirements.
• Producing detailed costings and quotations for customers.
• Liaising with customers via telephone and email to understand needs and provide solutions.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of proposals.
• Identifying opportunities to maximise sales and improve margins.
• Supporting customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.
