Job summary

Mercury Hampton Ltd. is seeking a technically minded Technical Sales Engineer to own the South East territory on a field-based basis across manufacturing and process sectors.

You will engage with maintenance and engineering decision-makers, assess site challenges and tailor capital equipment solutions to improve uptime and efficiency. You will combine account development with new business, visiting customer sites and drawing on a broad product portfolio including pumps, valves, seals,

Qualifications

• Proven external technical sales experience in engineering, manufacturing or process environments.
• Experience managing your own territory and developing accounts.
• Track record of winning new business in engineering or manufacturing.
• A mechanical engineering qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Sell and own the South East territory, combining existing account development with new business.
• Work directly with Maintenance Managers, Reliability Engineers, Engineering Managers and Plant Managers across manufacturing and process industries.
• Understand customer engineering challenges and develop solutions to improve reliability, reduce downtime and save costs.
• Visit customer sites to discuss capital equipment, pumps, valves, seals, flow-control devices and related automation.”
