South East England | Field Based | Global Engineering Manufacturer
£60,000 basic salary + bonus + company car + excellent benefits
Are you an experienced Technical Sales Engineer who enjoys getting out on site, understanding engineering challenges and developing solutions that genuinely improve a customer's operation?
We're partnering with a leading global engineering manufacturer looking for a commercially driven Technical Sales Engineer to take ownership of an established South East territory.
This isn't about sitting behind a desk firing out quotations.
You'll be out with customers, walking manufacturing and process sites, understanding engineering challenges and developing solutions that improve reliability, reduce downtime and save customers money.
You'll take commercial ownership of your territory, combining existing account development with genuine new business.
You’ll work directly with Maintenance Managers, Reliability Engineers, Engineering Managers, Plant Managers and other technical decision-makers across manufacturing and process industries.
We're particularly interested in people with experience selling:
Experience selling into Paper & Pulp would be a major advantage, although it isn't essential.
You do not need mechanical seal experience or to come from a direct competitor.
We're looking for someone who can sell and understand engineering.
You’ll ideally have proven external technical sales experience, experience managing your own territory and a track record of developing accounts and winning new business within engineering, manufacturing or process environments.
A mechanical engineering qualification would be advantageous, but we’re equally interested in people who have developed strong technical knowledge through their career.
This is an opportunity to join an established British engineering manufacturer with a significant global presence, excellent technical capability and an existing customer base across the territory.
If you’re currently selling technical solutions, engineered products or capital equipment and are looking for a bigger opportunity with a leading engineering manufacturer, we’d like to hear from you.
