Job summary

Venatu Consulting Ltd in Leeds is seeking a technically minded Technical Sales Engineer to drive growth for an in-house machine shop. The role offers autonomy to identify and win new business while nurturing existing customer relationships.

You will promote CNC machining capabilities, travel to meet clients, and collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure customer satisfaction. A network in the precision engineering sector will be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven technical sales experience in precision engineering or CNC machining.
• Established network within the precision engineering/manufacturing sector.
• UK driving licence and ability to travel as required.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across the precision engineering sector.
• Manage and grow relationships with existing customers.
• Promote in-house CNC machining and precision engineering capabilities.
• Visit customers to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Prepare quotations and follow opportunities through to completion.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet customer expectations.
• Represent the business professionally and nurture long-term partnerships.
