10 Recruitment is seeking a CNC Sales Engineer for an ambitious engineering partner in West Yorkshire. You will identify new business opportunities and cultivate existing customer relationships across the engineering and manufacturing sector.

You will understand machining requirements, provide technical advice, and deliver tailored engineering solutions from enquiry through to order. The role offers autonomy and a clear path to career progression.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within CNC machining, manufacturing or precision engineering.
• Experience in technical sales, applications engineering, account management or business development, or a desire to move into a customer-facing sales role.
• A strong understanding of CNC machining processes.
• The ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across your designated territory.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Visit manufacturing and engineering customers to understand their requirements.
• Provide technical advice and recommend suitable machining solutions.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Manage projects from initial enquiry through to completion.
• Work closely with internal engineering and production teams.
• Achieve agreed sales and business development targets.
• Maintain an organised sales pipeline and CRM records.
• Represent the business professionally at customer meetings and industry events.
