Job summary

Automation Experts in Glasgow is seeking a Sales & Applications Engineer to drive applications and business development across the UK and Europe, building relationships with end users in aerospace, gas turbine, automotive and related industries.

You will identify new opportunities, support existing accounts, present technical proposals, and work with internal teams to tailor bespoke processing solutions, with travel to customer meetings and exhibitions as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate with 2–3 years industrial engineering experience.
• Engineering, Process Engineering or Metallurgical qualifications advantageous.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial awareness with a proactive, self-motivated approach.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Applications and business development activities across the UK and Europe.
• Develop relationships with end users across Aerospace, Gas Turbine, Automotive and related industries.
• Identify new business opportunities and support existing customer accounts.
• Work closely with Project Engineers, Technical Specifiers and Procurement Teams to understand customer requirements.
• Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations and product proposals.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events and exhibitions.
• Support marketing activities to promote innovative processing solutions.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to develop bespoke solutions for customer applications.
