Job summary

Premium Power Units Ltd. is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to drive growth across Scotland, developing the equipment and service portfolio for diverse industries.

You will build long-term customer relationships, interpret technical requirements, and present compelling technical and commercial proposals. The role requires a proven sales background in engineering, strong mechanical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple opportunities with excellent communication and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management within an engineering environment.
• Strong mechanical engineering knowledge and practical understanding of rotating equipment, motors, geared motors, pumps.
• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Established knowledge of industrial markets across Scotland.
• Experience working with customers in the Industrial Manufacturing, Quarries, Oil & Gas, Biomass, Food & Beverage sectors.

Responsibilities

• Build strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth across the region.
• Understand and interpret customer specifications and technical requirements.
• Recommend and specify the most suitable / cost effective solutions for each application.
• Liaise with manufacturers to identify the best equipment options.
• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals.
• Provide product expertise and technical support to customers.
• Collaborate closely with the team to achieve business goals.
• Manage customer accounts and support projects from enquiry through to order completion.
