Zusammenfassung

DP World are recruiting an Operations Manager – Technical / Repair to lead the Coventry site’s repair operations, driving safety, quality and on-time delivery within a 24-hour SLA. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will manage a technical team, coordinate with internal functions and customers, and champion continuous improvement across the operation.

You will implement lean processes, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with DP World standards.

Qualifikationen

• Experience managing teams in technical/logistics environments.
• Knowledge of repair operations, quality systems and continuous improvement practices.
• Experience delivering performance against challenging targets and KPIs.
• Familiar with Lean methodologies, problem solving and continuous improvement techniques.
• Experience in automotive, manufacturing or logistics is desirable.
• Proficient with SAP, WMS and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organization to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive approach to cost and performance improvements.
• Commitment to confidentiality and protecting company information.

Aufgaben

• Lead the Technical / Repair operational area in collaboration with Supervisors and Team Leaders.
• Drive quality improvements whilst ensuring operational costs, productivity targets and customer KPIs are achieved.
• Manage customer repair requirements within agreed SLAs, ensuring effective delivery in a time-critical environment.
• Implement, monitor and improve operational processes, ensuring compliance and continuous optimisation.
• Monitor performance against key metrics, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing corrective actions where required.
• Work closely with the QEHS Manager, Business Controller and wider site teams to deliver quality, productivity and cost improvements.
• Act as the key contact for customer-related operational issues and support customer-driven changes and improvement initiatives.
• Lead continuous improvement activities using Lean methodologies and structured problem-solving techniques.
• Manage and develop a team of direct and indirect reports, promoting engagement, accountability and high performance.
• Ensure all activities are completed in line with Health & Safety requirements, company values and the DP World Code of Conduct.
