Job summary

British Gas is seeking Service & Repair engineers to deliver high-quality support to customers. You will play a pivotal part in our Service Promise, handling same-day fixes and representing British Gas in customers' homes.

You will have support from managers, mentors and engineer colleagues, but some jobs are challenging and require experience across boilers and central heating systems.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused service on every visit.
• Current ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1).
• NVQ, C&G or equivalent in plumbing or heating.
• 3 years' qualified experience of fault finding.
• Electrical knowledge of wiring on S-plan, Y-plan and boilers.

Responsibilities

• Attend service visits and complex breakdowns in customers' homes.
• Repair and fault diagnose boilers and central heating systems.
• Provide excellent customer experience on every visit.
• Work with a team of engineers and managers for support.

Base Salary is £47,303 with uncapped OTE - £54,400 is a realistic expectation through our fantastic field reward scheme. Whether attending an annual service visit or a complex breakdown you will be representing British Gas in the customer's home. You will have plenty of support from our managers, mentors, and engineer colleagues but some of the jobs can be challenging and experience of working across an array of different boilers and central heating systems and manufacturers is essential.
