Job summary

Sulzer Leeds Service Centre is seeking a Technical Repair Coordinator to act as the technical link between inspection, production, suppliers and customers. You will define repair scopes, cost them and manage in-house and external repair activities to ensure safe, on-time delivery and high quality outcomes.

The role requires experience in service or manufacturing environments, a mechanical background and good SAP/ERP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience in service, repair or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment or pumps.
• Time-served mechanical background or engineering experience.
• Commercial awareness and repair costing understanding.
• Experience using SAP or another ERP system.
• Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review inspection findings and develop repair proposals.
• Coordinate technical repair activities across internal and external suppliers.
• Obtain quotations and cost estimates for repair scopes.
• Produce repair sketches, marked-up drawings and technical documentation.
• Liaise with production to ensure accurate work instructions and timings.
• Support supplier management and technical query resolution.
• Coordinate the movement and storage of repair components through the repair process.
• Ensure SAP and associated documentation is updated accurately.
• Support inspection activities, including incoming goods inspection and NDT where required.
• Drive continuous improvement across repair processes and supplier performance.
• Promote and uphold Sulzer's strong safety culture at all times.
