Job summary

Voice & Script International (VSI) in London seeks a Studio Technical Production Lead to manage client-facing projects involving technical and AI-enabled tools. You will bridge production teams, suppliers and developers to deliver scalable studio workflows.

You will combine project management with hands-on testing, quality control, and operational problem-solving to help our studios deliver consistently, efficiently, and at scale.

Qualifications

• Two years of project management experience in the media sector, ideally within dubbing, studio production or a related localisation environment.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end studio production processes and tools.
• Practical understanding of AI technologies including large language models, text-to-speech and speech-to-speech tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage studio production projects involving technical or AI-enabled tools from quotation through delivery and invoicing, maintaining clear client communication throughout.
• Act as a super user of production tools, training suppliers and internal teams, troubleshooting issues and checking the quality of delivered assets.
• Create clear guidelines, process maps, training materials and support documentation for production workflows and tools.
• Test, trial and evaluate new software, processes and business cases for studio production.
• Design practical test cases for new tools, provide operational feedback to technical teams and recommend solutions that benefit the wider global studio network.
• Work closely with Development and Technical teams to report defects, feature requests, improvement opportunities and implementation progress.
• Review technical production processes continuously, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency and centralisation across the Group.
• Identify and mitigate delivery risks, track cost, time and effort for new workflows, and support senior management in developing pricing for new services.
• Produce accurate reports on project costs, tooling capabilities, supplier performance and other production measures.
• Provide central creative oversight and quality control for AI-generated content used in project delivery.
• Maintain a strong understanding of Global Studio Operations workflows, including material checks and multilingual audio quality control, and recommend improvements where appropriate.
• Support VSI and partner studios with production processes, technical tools and operational problem-solving.

As part of Global Studio Operations, the Studio Technical Production team brings production expertise into the development and use of technical and AI-enabled tools across VSI's global studio network.

What we are looking for

• Professional fluency in written and spoken English and at least one of the following languages: French, Italian, German or Spanish.
• At least two years of project management experience in the media sector, ideally within dubbing, studio production or a related localisation environment.
• Strong knowledge of end‑to‑end studio production processes and tools.
• A practical technical understanding of relevant AI technologies, including large language models, text‑to‑speech and speech‑to‑speech tools.
• Excellent organisation, planning, testing and time management skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities, work accurately under pressure and collaborate effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical and operational issues clearly.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and quality.
• Excellent problem‑solving and numerical skills.

It would be helpful if you have

• Knowledge of Pro Tools and experience with editing, mixing or lip sync recording software.
