Job summary

Voice & Script International seeks a Production Script Coordinator to join our in-house team. You will manage the script creation process end-to-end, coordinating suppliers, dubbing producers and internal teams to ensure scripts are accurate, compliant and ready for recording and delivery.

You will apply linguistic judgement and production knowledge to keep projects on schedule and within client brief, budget and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain supplier schedules, monitor turnaround times and flag risks to deadlines or costs.
• Manage scripts and materials in VoiceQ Cloud, MAM and related systems.
• Provide linguistic guidance and make creative decisions in project interests.
• Review dubbing adaptations and audio scripts for client specs and quality.
• Revise adaptations or create in-house dubbing scripts as needed.
• Coordinate legal documents, raise POs and assist with supplier invoices.
• Test and adopt VSI scripting tools with feedback for smooth rollout.
• Quality control: material review, language/length, and final checks before delivery.

Job description

The role

We are looking for a Production Script Coordinator to join our in-house production team and manage the script creation process end-to-end. Acting as both a project coordinator and language specialist, you will work with suppliers, Dubbing Producers and internal teams to ensure scripts and production materials are accurate, technically compliant and ready for recording and delivery.

You will use your understanding of dubbing and language to make informed creative decisions, identify potential issues early and keep projects moving to schedule, budget and client requirements.

What you will do

• Take ownership of the end-to-end script creation process, including supplier communication, scheduling, material movement and final delivery.

• Source new talent where required, confirm supplier availability, negotiate rates and secure the right resource for each project.

• Create and maintain supplier schedules, monitor turnaround times, and elevate any risks to deadlines, costs, or the client brief.

• Manage scripts and production materials through VoiceQ Cloud, MAM and other relevant systems.

• Provide linguistic guidance and make considered creative decisions in each project's best interests.

• Review dubbing adaptations and audio description scripts before recording to ensure they meet client specifications and quality standards.

• Revise adaptations and, where required, create full in-house dubbing script adaptations.

• Coordinate relevant legal documentation, raise purchase orders and support the accurate processing of supplier invoices.

• Lead the testing and implementation of VSI's proprietary scripting tools, sharing feedback and supporting effective adoption.

• Material review and quality control

• Review incoming media and production materials, identifying languages, musical segments and other factors that may affect quoting or recording.

• Complete quality control checks on final materials before client delivery.

• Update final scripts to reflect dialogue changes made during recording when as-recorded materials are required.

• Maintain close communication with Dubbing Producers, ensuring relevant information, risks and creative considerations are shared promptly.

Material preparation

• Complete word and character counts for scripts.

• Convert scripts and production materials into the required formats and ensure they meet technical and formatting specifications.

• Support script insertion into VoiceQ when required.

• Create edit decision lists for trailer edits and conforms.

What we are looking for

• Native or high-level English proficiency, with strong written accuracy and linguistic judgement.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Knowledge of entertainment media, additional languages or a linguistic or creative background would be an advantage.
