Job summary

Team Creation Limited is seeking a Technical Project Manager to steer cross-functional software projects across cloud and web platforms. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Dev Lead, and engineers to plan, execute, and ship high-quality game tech solutions.

You will mentor teams, manage timelines, coordinate releases, and ensure alignment with architecture and business goals while embracing Agile practices and modern DevOps tools.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years in technical leadership or PM roles with cloud/web apps.
• Hands-on Java 17+, Spring Boot 3+ and/or React experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects in fast-paced environments.
• Strong analytical and mentorship skills; excellent communication.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Manager and Dev Lead to plan and execute projects.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of technical projects including platform enhancements, third-party integrations, game launches, and regulatory updates.
• Break down complex requirements into executable project plans with timelines and ownership.
• Ensure alignment between engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
• Utilize project management practices to track progress and resolve blockers.
• Facilitate sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and release coordination.
• Serve as a technical point of contact for troubleshooting platform, API, and infrastructure issues.
• Evaluate technical solutions against architecture and business goals.
• Hands-on analysis with engineers to debug and validate assumptions.
• Mentor and coach team members on technical practices and problem-solving.
• Foster ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Role Overview:

Team Creation is a leading game software development company. We opt to deliver innovative products and immersive game experiences to the player worldwide. We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to assist project development. This role will collaborate with the development team and work with cross-functional teams to help continue delivering quality products to the market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Manager and Dev Lead to plan and execute projects.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technical projects including platform enhancements, third-party integrations, game launches, and regulatory compliance updates.

• Break down complex requirements into executable project plans with timelines, milestones, and clear ownership.

• Ensure alignment between engineering, product, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Utilise project management practices to track progress, identify delivery risks, and proactively resolve blockers.

• Facilitate sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and release coordination.

• Serve as a technical point of contact for troubleshooting complex issues related to platforms, APIs, infrastructure and backoffice systems.

• Evaluate technical solution from Dev Team and ensure it is aligned with architectural standards and business goals.

• Work hands-on with engineers to analyze root causes, validate technical assumptions, and support debugging efforts when needed.

• Mentor and coach team members on technical practices, communication, and problem-solving approaches.

• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the development team.
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in technical lead or managing position, particularly in cloud and web applications.

• Strong hands-on knowledge and experience in developing scalable Java applications with Java 17+, Sprint boot 3+ and/or REACT programming.

• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Proven analytical problem-solving skills and mentorship skills.

• Experience collaborating with technical teams, including DevOps, infrastructure engineers, and software developers.

• Exceptional organisational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana) and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Nice to have.

• Familiarity with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience managing global or multi-regional projects.

• Experience of introducing AI into project and product team will be a plus.
