Job summary

Comtecs Ltd in London (Hybrid) seeks an experienced Technical Product Owner to take ownership of a portfolio of document management apps, including iManage, HighQ and SharePoint. You will shape the roadmap, manage backlogs, and drive integration projects across legal tech platforms.

The role requires strong BA/PO background, hands-on SQL, and a track record of translating business needs into technical solutions with API-enabled integrations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of Technical Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Application Management or Application Engineering.
• Experience with iManage, HighQ, SharePoint or comparable Document/Knowledge Management platforms.
• Strong experience gathering requirements, running stakeholder workshops and translating needs into technical solutions.
• Experience with roadmaps, backlog management and end-to-end application lifecycle ownership.
• Proficient SQL skills to investigate data and validate integrations.

Responsibilities

• Act as Technical Product Owner for a portfolio of Document/Knowledge Management apps (iManage, HighQ, SharePoint).
• Own and develop application roadmaps aligned to business needs and technology strategy.
• Prioritize backlogs covering enhancements, upgrades, defects, maintenance and security updates.
• Gather, analyse, define and mature business and technical requirements with stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into user stories, specs and practical enhancements.
• Manage configuration, deployment, upgrades, patching and operational health.
• Use SQL to investigate data, troubleshoot issues and validate integrations.
• Collaborate with vendors to design and support API integrations and related tech.
• Identify opportunities to improve information-management processes through tech and automation.
• Troubleshoot complex application and integration issues with internal teams and third parties.
• Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, licensing, security controls and documentation.
