Job summary

Thales Group in Crawley, United Kingdom, is seeking a Technical Product Owner to drive the Engineering Environments product line on a cloud-based platform. You will work with an agile development team and the Technical Leadership team to maximise value for internal customers.

You will define backlog priorities, collaborate with the Portfolio Product Owner, and articulate acceptance criteria, while championing secure, scalable cloud solutions across Kubernetes, containers and GitOps.

Qualifications

Thorough understanding of software development best practices: DevSecOps, Agile, CI/CD, TDD, BDD, XP and Lean.
Experience cloud and secure development environments to architect and improve bespoke environments.
Ability to define and implement a suite of service offerings to support architected environments.
Good understanding of cloud technologies and enabling practices incl. Kubernetes, Containers, GitOps.

Responsibilities

Represents the engineering customers/users of the Engineering Environments.
Specifies needs, validates acceptance criteria and approves completed features.
Defines feature development order with Portfolio Product Owner to align with team objectives.
Takes important decisions regarding direction of solutions for the team.
Accountable for the Product Backlog content and priorities.
Collects feedback from end users and stakeholders during iteration reviews.
