Job summary

Thales in Crawley, United Kingdom, is seeking a Technical Product Owner to lead the Engineering Environments in an agile setup. You will maximise value from the development and deployment team and serve as the primary interface among engineers, the Portfolio Product Owner and end users.

You will champion best practices in cloud-enabled, secure development with Kubernetes, containers, and GitOps while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Understanding and applying current best practices for software development including DevSecOps, Agile, CI/CD, TDD, BDD, XP and Lean.
• Understanding cloud and secure development environments to architect and improve environments.
• Ability to define and implement service offerings to support architected development environments.

Responsibilities

• Represents engineering customers/users of the Engineering Environments.
• Specifies needs, validates acceptance criteria and approves completed features.
• Defines the development order and aligns with Portfolio Product Owner with team objectives.
• Makes key decisions on direction of solutions for the team.
• Owns the Product Backlog content and priorities for their team.
• Collects feedback from end users during iteration reviews.
