Job summary

SRS Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Technical & Product Manager for a market-leading fire- and acoustic-rated doorsets manufacturer in the South of England. You will run governance, manage documentation, and lead a multi-disciplinary team through significant change to ensure compliance and quality across products.

Reporting to the Technical & Product Director, you will deliver product-level workstreams, support regulatory certification, and maintain risk and evidence across the business.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in technical governance, product stewardship or technical leadership in a production environment.
• Background in fire doors or other regulated construction products is a plus with knowledge of testing and certification.
• Hands-on experience implementing and running document control or a quality management system, such as ISO 9001.

Responsibilities

• Run the governance system day to day, ensuring accuracy, traceability and audit readiness.
• Lead a ten-person team across delivery, engineering, testing and certification.
• Deliver product-level workstreams for BS-to-EN transition and coordinate tests and audits.
• Run the enquiry service for Commercial, Production and customers within agreed response times.
