SRS Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading UK manufacturer of bespoke fire- and acoustic-rated timber doorsets. The Technical & Product Manager will run governance, oversee the BS-to-EN transition and lead a ten-person team across technicians, drawing and field service engineers, on-site in the South of England.

You will build processes for document control, change control and internal audits, provide fast technical support to Commercial, Production and customers, and ensure

Qualifications

• Strong experience in governance, product stewardship or leadership in a production environment.
• Background in fire doors or regulated construction products with knowledge of testing and certification.
• Hands-on experience implementing and running document control or a quality management system (ISO 9001).
• Good understanding of product liability, compliance risk, change control and technical documentation.

Responsabilités

• Run the governance system day to day: ensure documents, decisions and certs are accurate and audit-ready.
• Lead the change control workflow, assess changes against certification and manufacturability.
• Coordinate internal audit programmes and maintain technical files and evidence.
• Deliver BS-to-EN transition workstreams to programme plan.
• Run an enquiry service for Commercial, Production and customers within agreed response times.
