CONFIDENTIAL EXECUTIVE SEARCH, a leading UK manufacturer in fire and acoustic-rated doorsets, seeks a Technical & Product Director to own the portfolio, test evidence and regulatory compliance. You will join the leadership team, driving growth and technical strategy for high-performance products across demanding projects in the South of England.

You will lead the technical function, set standards, manage testing and certification, and collaborate with operations, quality and commercial teams to

Qualifications

• 10-15 years in fire doors, fenestration, or other regulated construction products.
• Senior leadership across product development, design engineering, product management or technical stewardship.
• Hands-on experience of testing, certification and technical files, and working with certification bodies/regulators.
• Deep knowledge of fire door construction, BS/EN standards, UKCA/CE marking and certification schemes.
• Track record delivering complex cross-functional technical projects and leading teams through change.
• Strong product lifecycle, risk assessment and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical matters clearly to the board with commercial judgement.
