Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Technical Product Engineer for Cortex Cloud/CNAPP to act as a strategic adviser to the business. You will provide technical guidance to partners, customers, and internal teams, and identify sales challenges with pragmatic security solutions.

Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer-facing groups while learning and experimenting with cutting-edge cloud security tech.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in cloud security engineering or CNAPP roles across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Deep knowledge of CNAPP disciplines: CSPM, CWPP, CIEM, KSPM, and Cloud Detection & Response (CDR).
• Strong understanding of cloud-native platforms and Kubernetes; familiarity with IaC and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers and Engineering to incorporate customer feedback and competitive gaps.
• Drive Cortex Cloud CNAPP innovation across multi-cloud posture, workload protection, and threat detection.
• Collaborate with legal, sales, and product teams to support cloud security capabilities adoption.
• Lead technical projects to align teams, mitigate cloud risks, and deliver impactful product outcomes.
• Create technical content such as reference architectures, integration guides, and remediation workflows.
• Develop enablement materials to help enterprise customers adopt Cortex CNAPP across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
