Job summary

Red Bull Powertrains in the UK invites motivated undergraduates to a year-long placement starting July 2027. You will be part of our Technical Operations teams, gaining hands-on exposure to Formula 1 hybrid power units and end-to-end project delivery.

You will help develop and implement best-practice methods, assist with engineering planning and cross‑functional coordination, and contribute to manufacturing processes in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience from at least one year of undergraduate study on an Engineering, Science or Technology degree.
• Good knowledge of Formula 1 Hybrid Power Units.
• Ability to break complex technical problems down to fundamental principles.
• Demonstrated passion for engineering through projects or placements.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of best-practice methods and tools across departments.
• Lead and support engineering project planning and delivery, including defining detailed hardware.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to improve efficiency and meet project priorities.
