Job summary

Red Bull Powertrains in the United Kingdom invites undergraduates to join a year-long placement starting July 2027. You will dive into engineering challenges within the Technical Operations and Manufacturing teams, contributing to the design, build and validation of Formula 1 power units in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least one year of undergraduate study in Engineering, Science or Technology, knowledge of Formula 1 Hybrid Power Units, and strong teamwork and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Knowledge from at least one year of undergraduate study in Engineering, Science or Technology.
• Good knowledge of Formula 1 Hybrid Power Units.
• Ability to break complex technical problems down to fundamental principles.
• Demonstrated passion for engineering via projects, placements or work experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of best practice methods, processes, and tools across departments to improve efficiency, meet project priorities, and deliver on Red Bull Powertrains' objectives.
• Lead and support engineering project planning and delivery, including defining detailed hardware requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
