Job summary

Red Bull Powertrains invites driven undergraduates to a 1-year placement starting July 2027. You will contribute to design and development of powertrain components, using CAD/FEA/CFD tools and rapid manufacturing techniques, with hands-on testing and assembly involvement.

You'll analyse data from simulations and tests, document results, and collaborate with Technical and Manufacturing teams to push engineering boundaries in a fast-paced F1 environment.

Qualifications

Knowledge from at least one year of undergraduate study on an engineering, mathematics or physics degree course.
Solid understanding of engineering principles and ability to apply mathematical methods to real-world problems.
Familiarity with CAD/FEA/CFD or system modelling (training provided)
Experience handling and analysing data from simulations or physical tests, with quality technical documentation.

Responsibilities

Contribute to all stages of the engineering process from concept to live testing.
Work with design, manufacturing and testing teams to develop and validate components.
Develop fixtures, jigs and assemblies to support testing and integration.
Interpret data and present insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
